Supreme Vice
It is the empirical, sometimes accidental meaning and beauty of Nature – as well as the overlooked obvious – that art portrays.”  (Austin Osman Spare)

"Supreme Vice evolved from my interest in the 19th century occult revival that took place in the Western world. The work is contemplating our susceptibility to irrational beliefs that often stems from the desire to better understand the natural order of things in a time when God is dead and science is unable to provide us with satisfactory answers. However while this project reflects on these obscure 19th and early 20th century events, it is ultimately postmodern. The photographs that constitute Supreme Vice invoke death as the only objective truth of our existence. Nothing is real, everything is permitted."
